Welcome to Thatsâs So Giftyâs page. My name is Jeannine, and while I work to develop my digital shops further, I know bringing Thatâs so Gifty to our local area will provide a ton of value! As I share my expertise on trends in the marketplace. Why not have access to them right here, right, now? I work out of my home, which has been a desire of mine for so long. A little about me⌠I never planned to start a personalized gifting business. I had never identified as a crafter, but surprises are still the best things in life! I am highly creative but also developed a strong skill and eye for seeing market trends. I study trends in the market using software to discover what items and products are selling and doing well and which ones are falling short. My interest grew as I learned how to see patterns and read the information more and more. So coupled with creativity, itâs a great combination. You may think, Jeannine, what does this have to do with gifting? Well, I would say to you EVERYTHING!
When you walk into a store and say, âWhy canât I find anything im looking for?â This is not because the provider lacks data or insight on the customer, which is only a portion of the problem, but it's more because you have SPECIFIC NEEDS. Itâs because you are not being served simply as you need to be. What I have found in my research is one common thread: We all have unique requests, needs, and specifications that need to be factored in. The only way to truly fulfil this problem is to personalize the items.
I have chosen personalization because you are receiving what matters to you. The person you are gifting to wants to feel special and have something beautifully personalized for them. EVERYBODY WANTS TO FEEL SPECIAL. When you give, you want that extra touch that says I LOVE YOU and VALUE YOU more than just a generic Walmart itemâŚWAIT⌠Hereâs the thing Walmart isnât the issue. Where the item comes from is NEVER the issue. The MESSAGE the item is communicating is what matters. That message is coming from you! Make your gift SAY SOMETHING THAT MATTERS! LET ME HELP YOU DO THAT.
Gifting is something I love because I love to GIVE. Iâm a host at heart, and my love for people is a natural part of the way im built. So you are entrusting the right lady for the job with your special gift requests.
Here is a breakdown of how my page will work and the business practices I have chosen to use.
There will be various images showcasing different designs for personalized gifts. I will show you creative ways to use these transfers for endless ideas. Let me know what transfers catch your eye, and I will work to make you a special item tailored to your style and preferences.
I go and do the research and come forward with my findings, and hopefully, you find some things that you fall in love with, and it sends the message you want to share as you give. You also can request customer transfers as well.
Here is a practical example- The transfer is- I LOVE DONUTS! You will see âI love donuts!â On a t-shirt, coffee mug, notebook, sweatshirt, and socks.
The transfer is the image I have and can create for you! The image is a creative idea for you to think outside the traditional retail BOX!!!
Here are the various techniques I have chosen to run Thatâs So Gifty.
SUBLIMATION- The design is first printed onto a transfer sheet and then applied to the material using an industrial heat press and pressure. This is permanent and will last the length of the item. The substrate must have at least 65% polyester or poly coating for the chemical reaction to occur effectively.
HTV is a type of permanent vinyl used for custom designs. HTV is cut using a vinyl cutter. The vinyl is placed onto the fabric and pressed with heat and pressure to bond the vinyl to the material. If well taken care of, we see our high-quality HTV lasting up to 50 plus washes.
Permanent vinyl (PV) is a type of vinyl used to create long-lasting designs on many surfaces. It has a strong adhesive backing that allows it to be permanent. It is a great creative way to customize any personalized gift.
One of the most significant resources I love sharing with you is ETSY! Here is an example of how to search on Etsy, and if you see something that catches your eye, you can let me know, and I can support that creator and I can design that for you.
Example- You want to find a gift for a grade one teacher. In the Etsy search, you type in GRADE ONE TEACHER GIFT SVG. You have now found a TRANSFER you love. We discussed that you want to put the image on a 20oz skinny tumbler. By typing in SVG Thatâs So Gifty can support the creator who spent time and energy making that design. It's a win-win. You have the perfect personalized gift you want, and the author and creator of that design is being respected for their work. I take that design, and I sublimate it on the Tumbler or your chosen method we have discussed.
One of the reasons I wanted to bring this offline as well and into our close communities is the practicality of shipping prices right now. I know shipping is INSANE right now, so I hope this can remove that pain. Requests are what I do, so keep them coming. I will always be honest about what I can or canât do. Or even what I will or will not do. I work with all types of budgets because, as I said, this is not just about where the item is from. It is about the MESSAGE.
