New to the shop this week 🔥 Just stocked up on Z-Man WillowVibe bladed jigheads and Zman ElaZTech softbait, VMC Ned Rig and Swinging Ned Rig Jigs with articulated head for a little extra wiggle 😉, and StrikeKing mini dice!

A reminder that our new operating hours are in effect which means closing time is 6pm tonight!

A notice to our wonderful customers,

Over the past little while Rob and I have been considering altering our current operating hours to allow us a few days a week to dedicate consecutive days for trapping and also to be able to have a day off for ourselves and our family.

After 6 years of being open 7 days a week, we feel it's time to give ourselves a little break. 😉 This being said, starting August 26th, 2026 our new hours will be:

Mondays - Closed
Tuesdays - 7am - 8pm
Wednesdays - 7am - 8pm
Thursdays - 7am - 8pm
Fridays - 7am - 8pm
Saturdays - 7am - 6pm
Sundays - Closed

As usual, we will still be able to package bait for pick up after hours.

A few other dates to keep in mind:

- We will be closed from October 1st - 6th, 2026.

- November 2nd - 15th is our hunting season, as usual during this 2 week period we will not be available during daylight hours but will still offer bait for pickup as needed.

Our latest website launch is Northern Strike Fishing Co. a fellow veteran-owned business.

We first met through The Canadian Legacy Project https://www.canadianlegacy.org/
, and when his original website builder template couldn’t meet the needs of a fast growing business, he reached out to Code Forged Digital.

Partnering together we built a custom, easy to use website around what Northern Strike actually needed and not a generic template full of unnecessary features.

The new site is now https://www.northernstrikefishing.ca/. I look forward to providing ongoing support and maintenance and seeing where we take it next as his business grows.
