What a magical day at Enchanted Family FunFest! 🧚‍♀️🌿

Thank you to everyone who stopped by The Mimicry to say hello, browse our treasures, make a purchase, chat with us, or simply take a peek inside our little traveling shop. 💚

It was so lovely meeting so many wonderful people and seeing familiar faces come back to visit us again!

A huge thank you to everyone who chose to bring a little piece of our art home with them. Every purchase, follow, kind word, and bit of support means so much to us as a small artist-run shop. 🥹✨

And of course, a special thank you to Enchanted Family Fun Fest for giving us such a wonderful place to set up our little corner of the world!

Meet Morrow. 👻🐾

I don’t think Morrow ever intended to become a necromancer. Unfortunately, the spirits never got that message.

A Sphynx with a talent for attracting lost souls, Morrow spends his days helping spirits find peace, delivering messages left unsaid, and trying to keep his magic from causing too much trouble. While other necromancers command the dead, Morrow would much rather help them find their way home.

His spells may not always go as planned, but his heart is always in the right place.

“Not every ghost needs banishing. Sometimes they just need directions.”

Morrow is the second character in my growing Tavern Cats world, and there are many more stories (and cats!) still to come. I hope you’ll stick around and watch it grow. ✨

Hi everyone! 👋

I know I haven’t been posting much art lately, but I’ve been quietly working away on something that’s become really special to me.

Over the last little while I’ve been building the world of Tavern Cats—a fantasy collection of feline adventurers, wanderers, and storytellers centered around a magical tavern known as The Wandering Whisker.

Today I’d like to introduce you to Porter, the Keeper of the Wandering Whisker. 🍺🔑

A British Longhair with a sharp eye and a ring of well-worn keys, Porter has welcomed travelers through the tavern doors for longer than anyone can remember. He knows every creaky floorboard, every secret corner, and every tale worth hearing.

“Every key opens something. The trick is knowing which door.”

This is only the beginning. There are more Tavern Cats on the way, more stories to tell, and more of this world to explore.

I hope you’ll stick around and watch it grow. 🐾✨

✨Something a little different has been taking shape behind the scenes… 👀

We’ve been hard at work redesigning our convention setup to create a more fun shopping experience and make a few things self-serve so we can help everyone faster (and spend more time chatting about art, cats, and fantasy adventures!).

It’s definitely not finished yet, and you might not be able to tell exactly what it’s becoming… but we’re getting closer every day. 😆

We’ll be sharing the final reveal before .official so you’ll know exactly where to find Kayle Designs when you arrive!

Meet Zara 🌿

A quiet half-elf ranger who spent most of her life tucked away from the world, learning the ways of the forest alongside her animal companions. Now, with bow in hand and curiosity in her heart, she’s stepping beyond the safety of home to discover what lies beyond the trees.

I loved drawing her in both my cozy chibi style and a more realistic sketch style. It’s always fun seeing how a character’s personality shines through in different forms. 💚🦊

Which version do you like more—the chibi or the sketch?

So proud of all the kids this weekend Bonfield Event Park - — they all did amazing ❤️

Nathan had a great weekend racing, learning the ropes of summer drags, and getting more comfortable with every pass 🔥 Watching the kids grow in confidence and experience is such a cool thing to be part of.

And Sam? He’s already counting down the days until he gets his turn behind the bars 😂🏁❤️

From winter snowmobile racing to summer drag tracks… this crew definitely doesn’t believe in an off-season 😎

There’s something extra special about bringing your own design to life—especially when it’s for family. ❤️
Pressed these shirts for our racing crew and I’m kinda obsessed with how they turned out. Nothing beats seeing your artwork become something real (and loud enough for the track 😎💨)
