A 2023 study published in the journal Environmental Science & Technology found that using a plastic cutting board can create between 1,536 and 7,680 small flecks of plastic, which can get onto your knife and into your food.

The only board you should be using is a handcrafted cutting board made with FDA approved waterproof and food safe glue and finished with a handmade natural mineral oil and beeswax

This is a pretty neat thing. While I’m away at school and I see that the board I made for finally got delivered. It’s pretty awesome that I was able to make something that he will use. I’m very grateful for this opportunity. I’m excited to go back home once school is done and get back to work, and start posting again! Thank you for making this happen.

My shop had a whole bunch of extra lumber lying around so I cleaned it all up and made a bunch of maple, cherry, ash, and walnut boards out of it. I built 43 Charcuterie boards in three days! I’m loving this new photo setup! It really shows the boards off nicely. Here’s some pictures of some end-grain cutting boards mostly made out of Cherry, Maple, Walnut and Oak!
