I am Cassandra, a long time sewist and maker of things. I am now offering custom fit underwear, ready to wear underwear with a pregnancy band option. If you are like me and find it hard to consistently find comfortable store bought underwear, then you should try these! I make my products with a stretch cotton, so it moves with you and is still breathable. Turn around time is 1-2 weeks depending if I have to order fabric in. Wide selection of fabric available.

Custom fitting session is $40 and includes
- Taking measurements and discussing style options
- A fitting of the underwear and any alterations to pattern and finished product
- One pair of solid colour underwear
- I will keep your custom pattern on file for future orders which you would only pay the solid or patterned underwear price

Solid colour underwear $28, Pattered fabric underwear $35
- Sizes available XXS to 6XL
- Purchaser is responsible for selecting the proper size from the size chart. I am more than happy to help select the proper size, please reach out.
- Made from stretch cotton
- Available styles: boy shorts, brief, bikini, maternity band

Selecting pads

Selecting a pad will depend on where and how much you bleed.

Where?

The three main patterns for bleeding are front, center, back, or a combination of these three. We tend to bleed predominantly in one area the most.
Front and back bleeders benefit from a flared pad which is the typical maxi pad shape (wider at the front and back, narrow in the middle). This gives more absorbent material where you need it the most.
Center bleeders benefit from narrow core pads (such as the full wing pads in the shop). Absorbency is focused on the center of the pad with no flared ends.

How much?

Periods fluctuate in flow here is a handy guide for selecting the right level of absorbency for you.

Light Pads
Spotting: a few drops of blood, may not require a pad, some may prefer to wear a liner
Very light bleeding: would need to change a liner or light tampon 1-2 times per day

Regular Pads
Light bleeding: would need to change liner or regular absorbency pad or tampon 2-3 times per day
Moderate bleeding: would need to change a regular absorbency pad or tampon every 3-4 hours

Heavy Pads
Heavy Bleeding: would need to change a high absorbency pad or tampon every 3-4 hours
Overnight: wearing the pad longer and changing positions often, longer heavy pads can prevent leaks

Specialty Pads
Very Heavy Bleeding: would need to change the highest absorbency pad or tampon every hour
- I will note, the pads I currently sell would not be great for gushing. Cotton is absorbent however, fleece or flannel toppers give quicker absorbency with the added bonus of the fabric fibers to help prevent leaks.
