Happy Birthday Canada,

Tomorrow is Canada's 159th Birthday - we're still a baby. I hope that you all have a safe and happy holiday.

I am still on a hiatus of sorts - Still working on getting ME better - it seems like I go 2 steps forward and 3 back, but, we'll get there.

For now, I am going to do something I haven't done in MANY Years..I am going to relax and enjoy the summer.

I will have goodies though for Halloween and for Christmas - I am not doing any shows this year, but, hoping to have a couple of open houses - and you are always welcome to make an appointment and come to shop.

So as the old song goes - See you .. in September....Love, bee

This goes back a few years - I was at the Maple Sugar Festival and it was so wet and so COLD. Those days are gone though...

This goes back a few years - I was at the Maple Sugar Festival and it was so wet and so COLD. Those days are gone though, but, I sure enjoyed getting out into these markets and meeting so many people.

I'm still having trouble with my health. And, things aren't moving as fast as I would have liked them. I was hoping to have the new Bombatorium up and running by the end of this month, but, I don't see that happening for a couple of more weeks.

When I do get "back to business" I will be operating on a much smaller scale than in the past.

I have some issues with my heart, and I have to look after me, but, I don't want to give up Bee's so, I have had to compromise. I don't do many shows to begin with, but, the big one I have done for many years, the Davedi, is no longer. The decision was made to stop the annual event. It's a big blow to us makers, but, I understand the why's.

I will be doing more from my house; either by appointments or by open house.

I thank you all for your patience and your loyalty.

Happy Easter Everyone:

Spring and Easter, is a time of renewal. It's the time when the Earth awakens from it's long winter nap - and we have certainly had a long winter this year in the Great White.

I am pleased to say, that Bee's will be back up and running toward the end of April.. YAYYYYY! There has been a lot happening here as I have had two major renos going on, and with the help of Hello Darlene and her AWESOME staff, we managed to clear out 3 rooms of over 40 years of collected items. The ladies from Hello Darlene are incredible - I could not have done this job on my own or ever with friends, for that matter. The ladies at Hello Darlene are hard working, focused and above all compassionate. As a lot of what we cleared out were items that belonged to my late husband. We did all of this work in...20 hours over a period of time. I can't say enough good about these ladies. They have made things so much easier for me, and I thank them all from the very bottom of my heart.

Now, the task is ahead to move things from the former Bombatorium to the New and improved Bombatorium and in addition to that - move all my stuff from one bedroom into the other.

I hope to have pictures for you by the end of next week. I am so looking forward to getting back to work and bringing you some goodies, hopefully in time for Mother's Day.

My sincere best wishes for a Happy Easter and THINK SPRING.

This afternoon, I will be starting to clean out and pack up the Bombatorium preparing for the move to it's new locale.

My Bestie Bev is coming over tomorrow to help with things and on Monday I have a guy coming to clear away trash and old furniture.

It's happening and hopefully, we'll be back to business soon.
