Moving is stressful for everyone involved!

Here are some helpful tips and considerations when moving in or out of a building:

🟡 ELEVATORS: Most buildings require reserving the elevator for moving. Make sure to book the elevator early so the building manager can lock the elevator or set up the service elevator for the movers.

🔴 RESTRICTED PARKING: Confirm with your building where the truck can pull up the closest to the entrance to avoid any issues with loading zones, restricted areas or permit only spaces.

🔵MEASURE: Apartments and condos have tighter spaces so measuring doorways, elevators and rooms is ideal before trying to fit a large piece of furniture that may not work in the space.

🟣 NOTICE: In general making sure the building manager is fully aware of your moving date so everyone is on the same page for a smooth move!
