Highlands Thrift Store Opens in Edgemont Village: A Boutique-Style Thrift Experience With a Community Heart

North Vancouver, BC — September 27, 2025 — Highlands United Church is proud to announce the grand opening of the Highlands Thrift Store, a new boutique-style thrift shop in the heart of Edgemont Village. The store officially opens on Saturday, September 27 from 10am to 2pm at 3255 Edgemont Blvd., North Vancouver.

Highlands Thrift Store offers quality, gently loved clothing, books, housewares, and unique upcycling treasures — all at affordable prices. Every purchase supports the work of Highlands United Church reflecting HUC’s long tradition of community service, and helps reduce waste by keeping items out of the landfill.

“Our vision is simple,” says the Highlands Thrift Store leadership team. “Discover treasures. Support your community. Love our planet.”

For decades, the annual Highlands Flea Market raised funds and brought neighbours together. The new thrift store builds on that legacy year-round, offering a welcoming, sustainable shopping experience for all.
