The essential oils used in our candles have been chosen for reasons set out below (not just because they smell great!):
Lemongrass Essential Oil: the scent of lemongrass is said to release feelings of resentment, regret from the “should of” statements and pessimism by transforming these negative energies into positive energies. It allows the left brain to see options, so once the negative energies are released, optimism, courage and hope prevails. Lemongrass also protects our auric field from electromagnetic energy (TV, computers, radio).
Lavender Essential Oil: has a calming scent which makes it an excellent tonic for the nerves. Therefore, it helps in treating migraines, headaches, anxiety, depression, nervous tension and emotional stress. The refreshing aroma removes nervous exhaustion and restlessness and increases mental activity.
Vanilla/Grapefruit Essential Oil: Vanilla has a sedative and relaxing property and is also known to be an aphrodisiac. It lowers blood pressure and has a sort of tranquilizing effect on the brain. Grapefruit Essential Oil has great uplifting and relaxing effects on mind. It induces a positive feeling and hope and relieves of anxiety and stress. This effect is due to two reasons. First, due to its aroma and second, due to its stimulating effects which stimulates certain hormones which have uplifting effects on the brain.
