This project proves that a beautiful wine display starts well before installation. Our design team worked closely with the builder to understand the space, establish the ideal panel sizing and spacing, and create a layout that would feel balanced and intentional within the room.

From there, we provided a detailed dimensioned drawing for the builder to work from, along with a photorealistic rendering to show exactly how the finished feature would come together.

The result: three custom wood panels, softly backlit and fitted with our single-deep VINdustry Wine Pegs for a clean, minimalist label-forward display.

Every wine cellar should reflect the home, and the people who enjoy it.

For this custom staircase adjacent cellar, our client wanted more than just bottle storage. Together, we designed a space that balances contemporary display with practical storage, creating a feature that’s as beautiful as it is functional.

The main display showcases our Float Wine Racking System with matte black hardware and smoked grey glass cradles, giving each bottle the appearance of floating within the frameless glass enclosure. A custom millwork section tucked beneath the stairs incorporates VINdustry cork-forward wine pegs for additional bulk storage, display shelving, and everyday accessibility.

One of our favourite details? The custom live-edge shelf, crafted to perfectly complement the home’s nearby fireplace mantel. We love incorporating meaningful architectural elements like this to create wine cellars that feel seamlessly connected to the rest of the home.

The space is enclosed with frameless glass to maintain open sightlines and is climate-controlled by a CellarPro 1800 through-wall cooling unit, thoughtfully positioned above the display shelf for efficient airflow while remaining as unobtrusive as possible.

It’s these personalized touches that transform a wine cellar from simple storage into a true focal point of the home. 🍷

This custom installation showcases just how versatile our V Bar Wine Display System can be. While the outer columns feature our classic cork-forward wine pegs, the center column takes a different approach, mounting pegs on both sides of a single V Bar to create a stunning double-sided label view display that immediately draws the eye.

The integrated LED lighting adds depth and drama, making the bottles appear to float against the warm brick backdrop. It’s proof that with a little creativity, wine storage can become a true architectural feature.

This project was designed collaboratively with our client, who then installed the system himself. The modular nature of the V Bar system makes it an excellent choice for both professional installers and confident DIYers looking to create a custom wine display without custom fabrication.

Sometimes the best wine storage isn’t about fitting the most bottles, it’s about creating a statement.

For this contemporary rec room, we helped transform an empty wall beside the wet bar into a striking architectural feature using our VINdustry® Single Deep Label View Wine Pegs in a timeless matte black finish. Mounted on custom millwork panels finished in a shimmering Decometal veneer and suspended on standoffs, the display is enhanced with concealed perimeter LED lighting that creates a subtle floating glow.

Single deep pegs are the perfect choice when the goal is to showcase a curated wine collection while letting the labels become part of the design. The result is a clean, gallery-inspired display that’s as much art as it is storage.

Beyond the iron and glass entry door, you’re greeted by a dramatic display wall featuring 4-bottle-deep MP Lighting wine racking, complete with integrated LED spotlights that illuminate each bottle grouping and transform the collection into a gallery-worthy focal point.

Turn the corner and the true scale of the cellar reveals itself. To maximize storage capacity while maintaining elegance and accessibility, we incorporated 4-bottle-deep Millesime racking in black anodized aluminum and rich walnut. Streamlined rails present bottles label-forward, making it easy to locate, organize, and showcase prized vintages throughout the collection.

U-Bins provide flexible storage for wood cases, large-format bottles, and everyday inventory, creating a seamless balance between display and functionality. Every detail was designed to celebrate the wines themselves. allowing this remarkable collection to take center stage while providing the storage capacity needed for years of collecting to come.

A compact footprint, designed to make a big statement. ✨

This custom wine cellar showcases the versatility of our VINdustry Peg & Panel Kit system, combining double-deep label-view storage with cork-forward display to maximize both capacity and visual impact. Floating display shelves create dedicated feature areas, while custom architectural vinyl skins on the panel faceplates add a refined, built-in aesthetic.

The client selected natural polished aluminum pegs, creating a striking contrast against the dark panels. Each panel is mounted on stand-offs with LED perimeter lighting, casting a soft halo around every display and giving the collection a dramatic floating effect.

Behind the scenes, the floor was built up and insulated to protect the cellar from in-floor heating, while frameless glass preserves uninterrupted sightlines. A custom bulkhead was also incorporated to house a self-contained WhisperKOOL Slimline cooling unit, ensuring ideal storage conditions without compromising the clean architectural design.

This custom display cellar built by Gustavson Construction Inc. showcases our Float Wine Display System with double-deep glass cradles, maximizing storage capacity while maintaining a light, floating aesthetic. Designed to accommodate both standard 750ml bottles and impressive 1.5L magnums, the clear glass shelves and matte black hardware are suspended floor-to-ceiling in front of a textured stone feature wall, creating depth and visual impact from every angle.

Framed by full-height glass doors, the collection remains fully visible while protected, turning everyday wine storage into a gallery-worthy focal point for the home.

Tucked beneath the staircase at the entrance of this contemporary home, this custom installation features our V Bar wine display system with bottles presented on both sides of each vertical bar, creating a striking view from both the feature wine display and the adjoining bar. Suspended floor-to-wall tie-back brackets and custom-modified V Bars follow the line of the staircase above, maximizing storage while preserving an open, architectural feel.

The result is a functional wine collection transformed into a sculptural showpiece that welcomes guests the moment they arrive.
