To wear them simply center the main point in the front with fleece facing inwards and wrap the thin ends around the back of the neck and then bring the same ends back to front to connect the ends using button or closure. Then use your hands to adjust the scarf to desired tightness. If you have a lighter weight scarf with mask elastics on inside, I suggest you roll the top edge down a few rolls to
hide the elastics. This is both a fashionable and a functional scarf. I expect them to be worn more as an outside scarf but they could easily be worn as a fashion accessory. Currently, the majority of exterior front prints are 100% cotton prints and pictures of current choices can be found in the photo album "Exterior pattern choices". Each scarf also has a soft and cozy lining and you have a choice between a thick and warm fleece or a thinner soft material. Pictures of these choices can be found in the photo albums called "Fleece linings' or "Lighter weight linings". If you would like a reversible scarf you are also welcome to select 2 exterior prints but I can tell you from personal experience that it is hard to select 2 prints that look good together since you can see inside print while wearing it. I also have a variety of completed scarves to choose from so take a look through the photo album - "Available Scarves" and let me know if you find one you like. Prices and details are reflected on photos. To make it even more functional, I have also added small eyelets on the inside lining with adjustable elastic straps so if the desire/need comes up for a face mask you just pull the elastic out and use the silicone adjusters to move to the right fit. With the fleece lining I wouldn't recommend it be used as a long term mask, but if you are running around doing errands, walking the dog or running to the mailbox it can easily be pulled up for warmth or for a germ avoider close encounter. These straps are hidden away back in the eyelet when used as a normal scarf. If you are using a lighter weight lining please note that the eyelets may be visible. I have found that if you roll the top edge of scarf down a few rolls it does enclose the eyelets nicely while still being fashionable - if you prefer. Most of the front closures are handmade buttons with a lot of character from dead wood tree branches collected from our rural acreage which have been cut, sanded and varnished with the help of my family. Why did I call it the “Stingray Scarf” you may ask? If you look at the scarf not folded up, it is in the shape of a stingray including the elastic holes looking like the eyes of a stingray. At least to me. These scarves are mostly cotton front and polyester lining and are machine washable. They may need an iron if put through the dryer though so I suggest to lay flat to dry
