Calling all BC Schools! We have three $1,000 grants available to support projects that cultivate food literacy and inspire K–12 students to explore, learn, and grow through hands-on food experiences.

Schools will be randomly selected. We encourage all to engage, including Rural, Remote and First Nations schools across the province.

Teachers Jack and Amanda have been using the Les Verts Terrace Indoor Garden in their classroom for hands-on learning, as well as fundraising. Canadian charities and nonprofits in communities under 150,000 people can apply for $10,000 to $25,000 in grant funding from FCC towards an indoor hydroponic garden project. Deadline to apply is July 30. DM us today for help with your grant application.

The FCC AgriSpirit Fund is about enhancing rural communities. If your organization is raising money for a capital project and your city or town has less than 150,000 people, your project may qualify for a donation between $5,000 and $25,000.

It's transplant season! Our customers have been growing tons of seedlings in their Les Verts Terrace indoor gardens, and we have been too. Here we have tomatoes, peppers, dusty miller, basil, nasturtiums, snap dragons, coleus, dill, cilantro, lavender, geranium, zinnias... the possibilities are endless! You can transplant our recommended stone wool grow media, but peat and other media work too.

Meet Ajani, an energetic Grade 5 student from Crestview School in Winnipeg. When he set out to explore indoor hydroponics for his school science project, he had big dreams and a lot of curiosity.

With a little help from our team, Ajani turned his project into a showcase of innovation, earning a sustainability award and inspiring others along the way. Here's how one young grower proved that age is no barrier to making a green impact. Congratulations Ajani!
