A little Prairie & Pine backstory...

I learned floristry from my mom, who ran a home-based floral business out of our Calgary home before eventually opening her own flower shop.

What started as helping with flowers turned into a hobby of my own. Over the years, I designed for friends and family weddings while building a career in the oil industry and earning a business diploma.

After having my kids, I finally decided it was time to build something of my own.

And that's how Prairie & Pine Floral Design came to be. 🌿🤍

If I had a dollar for every time someone told me peonies were their favourite flower, I'd probably be able to retire.

They're gorgeous don't get me wrong.

But some of my favourite flowers are the ones most people don't even know by name.

Ranunculus? Absolutely.
Scabiosa? Love.
Celosia? Obsessed.
