So here’s how this all started :)
We were in Costa Rica and our friend’s puppy Mallory lost her leash.
I had made a couple of paracord leashes for my boys before, so I went to the local hardware store, found some paracord and made Mallory a brand new leash.
I shared it on my personal page and got such a big reaction that I thought… maybe this should be a thing.
So here we are.
I love making these. I love puppies. And honestly, these leashes are just awesome and deserve to exist in the world.
We have two English Labs: Cola (8) and Dalmore (1.5). Dalmore’s nickname quickly became “Dillydally,” and whenever he stops to sniff every leaf I’m always telling him, “Quit dilly dallying!” 😂
My husband joked about calling this new venture Dilly Dally, and it immediately felt right.
Everything here is handmade by me, start to finish. A true one-woman show.
Being a military family, I’ve always loved tactical colours like camo greens, browns, black, sand. Practical, understated and classic. So that’s where I’m starting with this first collection.
