This year was marked by major life changes, embraced discomfort and joyous mayhem.
In Spanish, there is a saying: Uno propone y Dios dispone. It reminds us that no matter how carefully we plan, the outcome ultimately rests in the hands of a greater power.
We have witnessed this firsthand as things have not always gone as planned or hoped. Yet in the grief we have faced and the difficulties that health issues created, we managed to walk into the various storms and come out on the other side.
Turning to my ancestors for strength and wisdom has been the norm. Looking upward to my Heavenly Father’s love and to the grace shown me by my Saviour Jesus Christ brought tender and timely mercies.
We have made new friends and have been blessed by long time friends. Thoughtful women in my life have shown kindness for my children, have kept them in their prayers, assisted me when I needed and kept in touch through the distances that separate us.
Thank you for thinking of our family and being part of our lives. The village that helps Aaron and I raise these precious children is a powerful source of strength and comfort.
At the beginning of 2025, I held three simple goals close to my heart. I remain deeply humbled to have reached hopes that were both simple and long-awaited.
Sending love to those who have lost a precious family member this year. Sending love to those who have remained steadfast through health challenges. And continued blessings to all who have struggled yet keep pressing forward.
Wishing you a joyous Christmas and an enlightening New Year!
