Statement regarding Durham Regional Police Article and News release March 9, 2026

On Tuesday March 3, 2026, one of our outstanding team members discovered a credit card skimming device on one of our pumps. The device was immediately removed by our staff member, and the police were contacted, therefore no card information was collected.

Together with various agencies, the suspects were later arrested upon attempting to retrieve their skimming device. The suspects were arrested a short time after returning and taken into custody where they remain.

We want to reassure our valued customers that no customer information was compromised at our location. We want to thank our team for the outstanding job they did that lead to these arrests.

Two males are facing charges after installing payment skimming devices to defraud customers at a gas station in Clarington.

Update - power has been restored to the area and Tims is open :)

We are open and running on generator. Store, fuel & Petro Pass are open. Tim’s is closed until the power is restored. ETA 10:45

There is single vehicle accident on the SB side just beyond our exit but before the 8th concession. At the moment, SB traffic is crawling but will post as soon as we see it open up.
