It feels weird to be doing Hickman Secret Wars nostalgia, but I guess it's 11 years old at this point. So here we get a series of one shots focusing on the incursions. Mostly it just seems to be kind of a fight mashup between AUs but like...House of M vs. Days of Future Past does have a sort of novel mouthfeel, right?

X-Men: Incursions #1 is on final order at Gnu Books on Sunday, October 11th at 5:00pm.

A bit so good, I'm surprised it hasn't happened before.

Take the magically inclined and morally dubious characters from the X-Men universe. Give them a magical problem to solve. Easy peasy. In general it's nice to see Magik having her day and for Madeline Pryor to get to build out as more of a character than just a plot beat. And Juggernaut has been through some interesting rides now as well. It's a strong group, a cool premise, and a great bit for the title. What's not to love?

X-Orcists #1 is on final order at Gnu Books on Sunday, October 11th at 5:00pm.

This one has such an interesting setup. Anarky being pushed by new villain the Torus to unify the gangs of Gotham. And oh hey, is that Stephanie Brown in a new undercover villain identity? Yeah, there's a lot going on here. I'm really enjoying how the Bat office is building out Gotham as a whole and this book looks to keep moving on that trend in interesting ways. Excited to see how it all lands.

Gangs of Gotham #1 is on final order at Gnu Books on Sunday, October 11th at 5:00pm.

We're coming out of Bad Seeds and it's time for Fraction's run to hit the next big stage. The setup for this has me all kinds of interested and really it's all in the title:

"The Assassination of Bruce Wayne"

It's got this Silver Age quality to it that I love while looking like a very modern swing. Fraction keeps cooking.

Batman #15 is on final order at Gnu Books on Sunday, October 11th at 5:00pm.

By now, a lot of you will have read the first issues of the Midnight launch titles. Those who haven't, get on that because they rule. But now is the chance to decide which ones you want to see the second issue for because all three are on final order cutoff Sunday. The second and third issues for these will be tricky. We'll definitely be getting copies, but figuring out where demand will land is tough. So make sure you get them added to your pulls so you aren't left dealing with the horror of disappointment.

Midnight: Spider-man, X-Men, and Fantastic Four are on final order at Gnu Books on Sunday, October 11th at 5:00pm.
