I've always loved jewelry - especially rings! Making rings started out as a hobby and I ran out of fingers, so began to give my friends and family rings as well. Before long, I was being asked to make stuff for friends of friends and so I Candy Crystals was born. When I discovered Etsy, I was totally excited and inspired to create a shop. I soon expanded to other jewelry as well, and have really found a niche in designing autism awareness jewelry. I have a son with autism, so I began to focus on fashionable autism awareness jewelry, in particular a faux suede wrap bracelet, which has become my signature piece and most popular items. Having this creative outlet and connecting with people on Etsy has been incredibly rewarding and a lovely escape! I've always loved creating and learned to knit from my Noni, then took up sewing, and now after wishing all my life that I could paint, am taking lessons and learning to paint.
