Here it is. The REAL story. This--is the Rise and Fall of Fly by Nite Oshawa. Exactly as it happened.

Fly by Nite Oshawa opened in 2016. Ten years later, it permanently ...

The time has come! This upcoming weekend: August 21st - 23rd will be our FINAL 3 days open.

Although the official closing date is August 26th. We're not open week days anymore, so the final day will in fact be this upcoming Sunday August 23rd. This is your LAST CHANCE ever to visit and shop Fly by Nite Oshawa before we are closed for good. After this date you can only find us at our Peterborough store or at larger Comic Con events.

We do have a little surprise planned for the 26th. So stay tuned for that...

One of my younger customers drew this for me as a gift. Now THIS is what I call Children's art!

I think the next generation is going to be JUST fine 👍

MAJOR Update:

The time has come - the end of Fly by Nite Oshawa draws near - Please Read:

1. Starting July 1st, we will be open FRIDAY - SUNDAY 11-6PM ONLY. This means Monday - Thursday we will now be CLOSED. I know this is a major inconvenience for many, but we need the free days to manage the MASSIVE undertaking of transferring the inventory up to our Peterborough location. Don't worry, you will hardly notice as the first thing to go will be the giant overstock that's not even on the floor.

2. Our Official Closing Date will be: August 26th 2026. We opened our doors 10 years ago to this day as we did a soft opening that day in 2016. Feels like a fitting final day for Fly by Nite.

3. We are officially launching our Ebay pages for Fly by Nite and Fly by Nite Peterborough (Yes, they're separate inventories). We know many have wanted us to sell online for years. We ultimately decided to set up simple Ebay stores to avoid the headaches of managing our own E-commerce websites. This is not even CLOSE to our full selection. But you will find many of the rarer items from the stores as well as stock that's not even on the floor! After the Oshawa location closes, a large amount of its stock will only be available to buy through this page.

Oshawa:

Peterborough:

4. Please Follow Fly by Nite Peterborough's Socials if you want to support the business! Come September Fly by Nite Peterborough will be the ONLY Fly by Nite location. So ALL trade ins, new stock, pre-orders, literally EVERYTHING Fly by Nite related will be posted on their Socials:

https://www.instagram.com/flybyniteptbo/

https://www.facebook.com/flybyniteptbo/

If you cannot make it to this location in person, fret not. We ship! We can take E-Transfer payments and ship ANYWHERE in Canada. Message through our socials to arrange this. We can literally sell you ANYTHING in store and ship it out to you!

Sincerely, Justin Ashley
Owner and Operator of Fly by Nite
