Well… we may still have a few boxes, books, and supplies scattered around the new Den… 👀📦😂

We’re now ACROSS THE STREET FROM OUR OLD LOCATION, inside Lord Simcoe Place:

Hours will be adjusted as we get settled. Once school starts, I’ll generally be there Tues to Thurs, 10 am-3pm and Fri to Sat will be 10am-5pm.

We may still be surrounded by boxes, but after everything we’ve been through, being able to open the doors again feels pretty damn magical. 🥹🐉

🚨🐉 THE ACOTAR HOARD HAS BEEN SHAKEN. 🐉🚨

SJM really woke up and chose CHAOS. 😭🔥

She wiped her ENTIRE Instagram… 👀 then disappeared into the shadows… 🌙 and came back with the BOOK 6 & BOOK 7 TITLES + COVER REVEALS for ACOTAR.

MA’AM!!! WE WERE NOT EMOTIONALLY PREPARED. 😭

Book Dragons Den is officially in FULL EMERGENCY MODE. 🚨🐉📚 That's right! The minute I saw the reveal the first thing out of my mouth after the squealing was... 'there you are! I've been waiting for you.' And then of course the internal screaming happened, the theories, the zooming in on every tiny cover detail, the conspiracy boards... the “WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!” And of course, I'm going to be rereading every ACOTAR book because apparently we need to suffer again. 😂

And because Sarah J. Maas apparently decided to kick down the door to the fandom and throw the entire hoard into flames…

🐉✨ The Dragon Has Found a New Den... For Now. ✨🐉

After one of the hardest chapters of my life, Book Dragons Den has officially moved into its new temporary home.

We're currently settling in (sort of... we still habe to bring everything over), unpacking boxes, and making many more trips back to our old location to bring the rest of our hoard over. It's going to take us a little bit of time, but I promise it'll be worth the wait.

57 Simcoe St. S., Unit 1H (inside Lord Simcoe Place, directly across the street from our previous location).

This is our home while we work on rebuilding our financial foundation and figuring out our next chapter. Sometimes life doesn't give you the ending you planned but every once in a while, it throws you a lifeboat. Someone threw me one, and I couldn't be more grateful that I was able to jump on it.

🤞 Here's hoping this is the fresh start Book Dragons Den has been waiting for.

🐉❤️ A Message from Your Book Dragon ❤️🐉

I've been quiet lately, and I owe you all an explanation.

Today I'm sharing the full story alongside Shawn from Book Bazaar (and no, we didn't break up 😂... she's still the Enid to my Wednesday).

The truth is, Book Dragons Den has been fighting an uphill battle for a long time. Between little foot traffic, cancelled events, rising costs, health struggles, raising a family, and trying to do everything on my own, I've been doing everything possible to keep the Den alive. I poured my heart, my savings, and everything I had into this dream.

This wasn't one bad month. I've been drowning for a while, trying desperately to stay afloat.

Because of everything that's happened, the incredibly difficult decision to close our current location effective immediately was made. This decision was made on good terms, and I truly hope that one day, if circumstances allow, Book Dragons Den may find its way back to physical storefront the way I have dreamt of.

But this is not the end.

When I asked for a lifeline, someone threw me one at the last minute, and it was an opportunity I couldn't refuse.

✨ Book Dragons Den is relocating. ✨

There will be changes, there will be a new chapter, and once I'm settled, I'll share more with all of you.

This video isn't about pity or excuses. It's about honesty and transparency because you deserve that from me.

Thank you to every single person who has supported this little bookstore. You've helped keep this dream alive longer than you know.
