Six years ago I started BLVD as a small pandemic project.
Last week we hosted our fourth fashion show.

After a week of R&R I’ve been thinking about how surreal that feels.

BLVD started in 2020 as an outlet for my love of thrifting, fashion, and the creative community, something I always wished existed growing up in Ottawa.

I was the kid collecting fashion magazines and dreaming about runway shows that felt a world away from here.

But as BLVD grew, I realized something:

Ottawa never lacked creativity.
It just needed an outlet.

Over the years this little project somehow turned into pop ups with local cafés, lines down the Glebe for our drops, and now four fashion shows in Ottawa bars and clubs that let the little kid in me live out his dream of producing shows.

Somewhere along the way I also realized how much I love building events, the chaos of planning, creating something from nothing, and watching it all come alive for one night.

What makes it even more special is that I now live in another city, yet the community we built in Ottawa is still strong enough to sell out every show. That part really means a lot.

BLVD has always been a labour of love, and it truly takes a village.

To the photographers, videographers, makeup artists, models, collaborators, and friends who gave their time and energy just to be part of something creative.

To my family, who always support every idea I come up with.

And to everyone who has followed along, bought pieces, shared posts, and shown up to these nights over the years, thank you. I still have to pinch myself every time.

Grateful for our little community, and excited for what’s next♥️
