As we continue to honour Black Culture this month, let me share a story with you.
When my mom & I first decided to take on this venture last summer, we had no idea what we were going to offer or how. We just knew that we wanted to make hair, fun again, for everyone.
So during this time, one my best friends approached me about making Satin scrunchies. She explained to me the struggle of finding, good quality, durable, but also affordable Satin scrunchies. My friend continued to share that she doesn’t wear Satin for their “luxurious” appeal, but more so because her hair requires her to. Having thick, curly, beautiful black hair, her hair appreciates the thought she puts into her accessory choices.
Since then, we have been making custom Satin scrunchies for her, and I can proudly say, we’re the only scrunchies in her rotation. Now, we’d love to make our Satin collection available to all of you!
Thank you Riley, for opening our eyes to your struggle, and the struggle of black women & men everywhere. I hope we can help make hair care a little easier and more accessible for those of you who need it.
