I've grown.
Women in Steel Toes has been my love, and my baby, for the last two years. As I've evolved in the industry I find myself in a position where I no longer spend as much time on sites and it's been a hard one to accept. As I've evolved, so has Women in Steel Toes.
On Instagram, you'll be seeing a lot more of my day-to-day as it relates to my own personal journey, the adventures I take, and showing off my love for construction.
I'm realigning this page to be more authentic to who I am so I can show the space in construction that I take up now. Because trust me, I'm far from done taking up space, and I'm far from done growing.

On LinkedIn and Facebook, this means you won't be seeing this page as Women in Steel Toes. You'll be seeing it as "RUUDGEAR", a women's workwear line that I've been working on for a little while and am SO excited to share with you.
RUUDGEAR was born out of my annoyance with workwear, wanting a bunch of pockets, and something that'll work through my job and all my crazy home renovation schemes. The name you ask? Is a play on Michelle Tanner's (Full House) "That's ruuuude" because every sly comment that I came across as I evolved in my journey resulted in that exact thought as I let it roll off my back.
RUUDGEAR is about not living up to the expectation of being nice, instead, being courageous as we create our seats at the table, and heck, as we build our own table (thank you .on.site for that one).
