In what might be our coolest workshop yet, join us on Saturday, June 27 from 10am–12pm to learn Naalbinding, an ancient Viking textile technique that predates both knitting and crochet.

In this special 2-hour workshop, you’ll learn:
• Naalbinding basics
• The Oslo stitch
• The Mammen stitch

No experience needed, just bring yourself!

We’re delighted to have Vovó by back in store!

Vovó (Portuguese for Grandma) is a versatile and sustainable non-superwash yarn made entirely from fine Portuguese wool. We love knitting with this sport-weight yarn and find it to be a great choice for sweaters and cardigans intended for daily wear.

💛 A Stitch of Kindness 💛

We’re so proud of Wabi Sabi team member Jennifer Gibson and the incredible community effort that brought comfort to patients at Wi******er District Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Last week, Jennifer donated 60 hand-knit hats to the chemotherapy unit at Wi******er District Memorial Hospital, offering warmth and comfort to patients during treatment.

What began as a personal knitting challenge in support of the Canadian Cancer Society soon became a community effort. With support from Wabi Sabi, two free chemo-hat workshops brought knitters together in Hintonburg to create more than 50 hats through shared generosity and care.

Thank you to everyone who knit, donated, and helped turn yarn into comfort for patients and families.
