A quick reminder that the candle is in a cup, but it is not a drink. Do not drink your candle and do not hold it near your face the way I do in the photo. It is a lotion candle meant for use on the skin, but always apply it carefully and test a small amount first.

SDCHG has officially FULLY moved to sdchg.ca! I have owned the domain for over a year, but after some hard work, you can now officially purchase directly FROM MY WEBSITE! I have decided to leave Etsy after some issues with the platform. I have transferred my website from WordPress.com to WordPress.org and will be deleting both the sdchg.wordpress.com and sdchg.etsy.com websites soon. They are still up at the moment until I have verified that everything is properly transferred and backed up. For all future orders, sdchg.ca will be the website to visit. If you have any questions as to how to navigate my website, let me know!

I received a lot of feedback from my friends and family. One major feedback I got was to make it VERY clear what the candles contain (for the scents), and so now they are mentioned 3 times on the listings to make it very clear what "Tchoko'Ñatiarja" is for example!

The site at the moment is available in French, English, Spanish and Portuguese. If you speak another language and would want to double check the work that the AI does, feel free to send me a DM!

So so so happy with how everything turned out with the website. I've had it for a while, but being able now to receive purchases DIRECTLY on my website is a HUGE plus.

Our lotion candles at SDCHG come in two different models, our Tin collection and our Teacup collection. Here are some frequently asked questions regarding our tin collection:

Does the metal heat up to the point where it's too hot to be handled? : No, the flame should not be touching the metal at any time, and the wax should max reach a lukewarm temperature.

Are they skin safe? : Our lotion candles are made with natural and skin-safe ingredients, such as soy wax, shea butter and coconut oil, so don’t be alarmed, as our candles are paraffin-wax free.

Does the label get ruined after a while? : As with all beauty/cosmetic products, there comes a time where the label can potentially start to degrade. At the time being, our labels are not water proof, we are working on having them become water-resistant in the future. We recommended pouring the lotion from the back side of the tin, where there's no label!

SDCHG has officially launched on Etsy!!! 🫧 I am so so so happy! This is a big step for SDCHG in being able to reach a bigger audience and spreading my art, which are my candles and Dinetrikian legends/myths. Three new candles will be coming out later this fall or early winter, but here's the catch 👀 Once I reach 10 sales on Etsy in total, I will release the new Carnia-Menia collection (the three candles)! Thank you for supporting me! I forgot to make a post about it, although I did do a story for it!
