Cheap & Cheerful Vinho Verde. We don't sell this label but LCBO has it for $9.95 ( #530261, check your store 1st, sells out quickly). Light and crisp, not as tart as trad Vinho Verde. Only 9.5% alcohol w a touch of effervescence. Such good patio sipper...dangerously close to a patio GLUGGER (you were warned...). Our clients Rico and Fernando @ Caravela's Portuguese Resto in Orleans turned us on to this lovely.

We do wine tastings for work groups. Last week's, a fundraising event for Ottawa's Rotary Home, was fun, informative and delicious. A group of 20 sipped four exclusive European wines from Italy & Portugal. A great team-building or employee appreciation opportunity. Contact us for details.

Our current wine list. Wines shown in black print can be delivered by Friday if ordered by Tuesday. Majority of these wines come in 12-bottle cases, but some come in 6's. (Many of our private clients go in together on these cases, but LCBO will not ship mixed cases). Wines in red print are still in transit from Europe and will not be available for several more weeks.
