BAG MAKING BASICS!!
Ever wanted to learn how to make your own custom By Annie bag or perfect your developing skills?
This By Annie Basics class works through all the techniques needed to make any ByAnnie project from start to finish. You will learn how to prepare, quilt, cut, sew, press and assemble your project. Using the patterns Piece Keeper, Call Me, Easy Does It and Bosom Buddy you will learn how to insert a zipper, make strapping, use hook and loop tape, mesh, fold-over elastic and vinyl, and work with bias binding. All fabrics, notions and tools are required prior to the first class. Sign up online or in store!

Worldwide Quilting Day is Saturday March 21st!! With this really long winter soon behind us, let’s celebrate the quilting that kept us going! Join us in the morning (10-12) as we launch our new monthly Coffee Club. Coffee Club will feature new products and sneak peaks. There will be a topic of discussion and we will showcase related products where you can test them all out for yourself! Spring cleaning is here so we have chosen to talk about sewing room organization for our first Coffee Club. And no Coffee Club is complete without coffee (or tea) and maybe some sweets! 😉 This first Coffee Club event is on the house! Future events will work under the drop in card program. In the afternoon (12-4) come by with your sewing machine and help us fill our clothes lines with blocks that will be made into charity quilts and donated, giving a big quilt hug to our community members that could really use one. We will dip into Madonna’s stash of beautiful scraps and create 10.5” blocks. No fee to join. Can’t stick around? You can purchase a $5 scrap bag and return with at least one completed quilt block from the scraps in the bag and you will receive a $5 gift card! No matter how you participate, every block returned to us by April 25th will get you a ticket in a draw for a stack of fat quarters!! We will also have the Spring Patchwork Adventure Shop Hop game boards ready to start playing so why not make it a day and join in the fun!

Look who turns 50 today!!! This beautiful human inspires us daily with her creativity, her knowledge of all things sewing and her witty humour. Today is filled with celebration but we want to take this moment to wish Madonna a very Happy 50th Birthday! (that’s 21 with 29 years experience right? 😉) 🥳🎉🎂🎈
