Hi, tea friends! 👋

It's been a while since a new Tealee original blend was created. The process has always been a creative outlet for me but it requires inspiration, often from a sentimental place, sometimes a simple desire for a specific flavour combination, or both!

Last Christmas, at just 3 years old, my niece Amelia (nicknamed Mills), my mom, and I shared our first cup of tea together. Amelia requested peppermint tea and excitedly sipped through multiple refills from her little teacup. In this moment, I felt the spark to create her very own blend and knew exactly what the base ingredient would be.

The rest of the blend was created with the help of her adored big cousin, Presley. Quite the full circle moment as one of my first blends Princess Presley was created for my sisters baby shower for Presley back in 2014.

We agreed the blend needed to feature brightly coloured ingredients to match Amelia’s bright spirit and sunshine personality (mint and marigold), be delicious served both hot and iced to be enjoyed all year round (queue the fruits), and be kid friendly (caffeine free).

Just like Amelia holds a special place in my heart, Minty Mills now holds a special place in our collection of original blends.

Hi! 👋 Question for ya, have you tried our Pu'erh tea blends yet?
If you aren't familiar with pu'erh tea, it's a fermented black tea that is totally produced in China and it has a light mushroom and earthy flavor. We offer a classic young pu'erh (aged 5 years) and the following pu'erh blends:

- Orange Ginger Boost (pu'erh tea, sweet orange peel, ginger)

- Cocoa Mint (pu'erh tea, cocoa beans, peppermint)

- Tea for Two (pu'erh tea, cocoa beans, strawberries, rose petals)

⭐ Tealee teas are now served at Ottawa’s famous restaurant Atelier and one of Ottawa’s new French restaurant GitanesOttawa

🇨🇦 We shipped an order to the Northwest Territories for the first time!

🥳 Tealee turned 6 years old on October 7th!

⭐ Over 25 custom tea blends have been created for your special events or just for fun! This has been one of our most popular online options.

✔ With the addition of 4 new tea blends, our goal of carry 20+ original tea blends this year has been achieved.

🙋‍♀️ We will be attending our only craft show of the season this Saturday: the MAC FAIR We hope to see you there!

On a personal note, we (myself (Lisa) and Sami) spent 2 weeks in Italy and a week in Berlin to explore and recharge. Since our return, online orders have been rolling in like crazy. I can’t thank you all enough for your on-going support. It warms my heart that the tea blends I have created continue to warm your bellies. 🤗
