This past June we stretched and installed this 96" x 120" print for a client in Oakville....and we must say, it looks incredible! We ended up first stretching a raw cotton over the stretcher then the print overtop. This was to prevent the braces from showing through the thin semi-transparent synthetic print canvas. Send us your canvases, whether artists’ originals, reproductions of original work, or printed photographs, and we will stretch the canvases on our high quality stretchers and ship the finished product back to you or anywhere you wish. If you have art that is not stretched properly, you can take it off the old stretchers, roll up the canvas and ship it to us and we’ll re-stretch the artwork on a quality stretcher frame and ship it back to you or hold for pick up. We also stretch canvases for commercial accounts and can offer good discounts based on quantities involved. Her Majesty The Queen graciously assented to unveil my portrait of Her at Windsor Castle in October of 2016. The painting is on permanent exhibition in the Thames Foyer of the Savoy Hotel in London. This painting is mounted on Upper Canada Stretchers stretcher bars.

The strength and stability of the stretcher bars & crossbars allowed the painting to stay true whilst it was shipped from my studio in Canada via Belgium to Windsor Castle.

When you purchase stock braces (sold with stock bars and bundles), they automatically use our "Universal Brace system".

Our "stock" Universal Braces use screwed-in brackets to mount to the stretcher bars and allow braces to be used interchangeably with any other size bars*. This allows you to take advantage of the cost savings of buying in quantity without sacrificing your creative options!

*Please note that braces for different stretcher bar profiles are not interchangeable. Universal Braces for a 36"x48" Standard profile frame will not be the same length as Universal Braces for a 36"x48" Gallery profile frame, nor for Professional or Basic. The reason for this is that the stretcher bars are different widths, and therefore the span between the bars will be different, making the same "size" braces different lengths.
