Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I just wanted to let you know that I will be at the Farmers' Market tomorrow.

It is going to be too cold to sit out in the nonexistant sunshine, so why not come and grab a bite to eat and check out what LUCY, as well as many other awesome vendors, have to offer.

Hello again, I have had a few messages asking about the size of the dress. I have labeled it SMALL. I figure it is about a size 8ish (depending on what you compare it to). The mannequin measures 35.5 in the bust, 28.5 in the waist and 36.5 in the hips. The dress fits the mannequin well, but there is a tiny bit of extra room in the bust and waist.

Also, it is fully lined and has side inseam pockets.

One of the benefits of LUCY being a hobby is that what I decide to make is not always determined by the size of the potential market. This is such an example. Of course I hope it sells, but I know the number of people looking for something like this is limited. But, I just felt like making this dress with this fabric. So, if you know someone in the market for such a one of a kind dress, tell them to check out LUCY Creates. Maybe I should have made it earlier in the year when grads were looking for grad dresses. Oh well, there is always next year.

I love fancier/more elaborate fabrics and sometimes I just can't resist buying some. Just to let you know, I have quite a collection of such fabrics.

There is a small bit of this fabric left. Any suggestions what to do with it?

Now I need someone to try it on to see how it fits (especially the straps).

I don't often make bags, but both of these are made using the left over fabric of two jackets that I made. Both bags have 2 outside pockets and 2 inside pockets. They both also have short and long straps. The gold print is quilted. Let me know what you think? Have a great weekend.

Do you know a sure sign that Sping is here? No, it is definitely not the weather!!! It is the Mega Market at the Jack Byrne Arena in Torbay and it is happening next Sunday (May 3). Yes, it is that time of year again and LUCY will be there. This year I will have a 50% DISCOUNT RACK.

I like to buy fabric almost as much as I like using this fabric to make beautiful pieces of clothing. I also have some awesome friends who sometimes gift me with fabric. As a result, my storage room is starting to overflow with fabric and garments that I have made. So, I have been choosing some of these items to go on a discount rack. Here are just 2 of these 50% discounted items going to the Mega Market. I will post a few more new and discount items as the week goes by.

It is going to warm up sometime in the next few months I promise - or maybe I should say "I hope". On the other hand: paired with a jacket/cardigan, a pair of tights and boots, these would make multi-season garments. (bonus - they have side inseam pockets.) The multi coloured dress is on the smaller side of my medium and the black with rose print is an extra small. They will both be at the Farmers' Market this Saturday if you want to check them out.
