A textile designer bringing unique handcrafted fabrics to clothing and the sewing community. I love textile design.

After years of traveling the globe and becoming enthralled with the cultural heritage of textiles, I studied at three different Canadian art schools over five years before getting my BFA in textile design from the Alberta College of Art and Design. In 2002, I returned home to Vancouver and opened my business designing fabrics to incorporate into her clothing and accessories. Since then I now live

In the beautiful Pemberton valley (near Whistler BC), have an awesome family and property that keeps me very busy. Finding time to create and produce is always a challenge but in the end, I have realized it is what really keeps me content and sane in this "crazy" world we all live in :)

My clothes are fun and whimsical, modern and well crafted, inspired by colour, nature, process and material. Each garment is unique with collage-like detailing hand-picked by the designer. Most of my clothes are adjustable to make fitting all body types easy. Frances Felt has been featured in Toronto Life and Ion Magazine, as well as the Georgia Straight and the Vancouver Province. Frances Felt participates in The Shiny Fuzzy Muddy Show (Vancouver).

Hello IG Friends far and wide! I am just letting you all know that I have made a career shift and I have now become a BOOKKEEPER!
Yes, quite different from the creative arts but I am enjoying the challenge and have always loved learning new things. I come to bookkeeping honestly as my father was an Accountant and taught me early on how to keep my own books for all my other business ventures. I trained up this Spring and have been working with a few clients over the summer. I am now ready to take on more!
I am a remote bookkeeper meaning I can help any Canadian business from anywhere. I am specializing in Quickbooks Online and am looking to work with small businesses in any industry.

Looking forward to exhibiting at Portobello West this weekend. I will be bringing lots of my classic Rosemary tops as well as some sweatshirt Christy tops and for the first time, a new tunic dress. As always, there will be some lovely tea towels that are perfect mother’s day gifts.
