These engraved beauties have been one of my best sellers! Engraved, matte, non slip hair claw clips. So darn pretty! I use mine almost everyday and have totally replaced hair elastics for me.
I order them in, in assorted colors so keeping them in stock on the site gets a bit tricky. Keeping certain colors in stock can be tricky.
So, if you have been wondering why I post about them but cant find them on my website, currently they are just available to stores. (Wholesale).

Let's talk about sun hats/sun exposure! Oh boy! I went to Cuba years ago, I swore I wouldn't burn in the hot Cuban sun while on my vacay, so I slathered on the sunscreen. I was in the beautiful teal blue ocean most of the first day without a hat and let's just say I was a lobster by the second day and not loving it!! I went out and bought the biggest sun hat I could find (I might as well have bought a sombrero haha) it was big!! I wore it everyday all day for the rest of the trip!
Fast forward to today, I LOVE a good sun hat, and, the prettier the better!
When I bought these sun hats, I knew I would be making a few for myself and for my website. The really fun part...I only made 1 of each style! What you see here is all there is! Only one of each, that makes these a work or original art.
If you seen my stories today, I mentioned that I started out painting one of a kind pictures on canvas I sold in art galleries. What can I say, its still in my blood.

Ok my lovelies, help me out here! Do you like "custom order" type goods? Items that you can customize for yourself or for gifts? I need to know if you would be interested in custom order items again! I use to do quite a few over the years and I have a few ideas on some really great customizable pieces you could order and put your personal touch on.
Please let me know your ideas, dont be shy!
I have always wanted to offer men's items but not sure if I have the clientele or not.

You might not believe me on this one!!!
I am not quite sure why I hadn't posted about this as it was happening and after it was finished but, I wish I had. Because, well this is quite honestly the most amazing custom/commissioned piece I have ever done. (Don't get me wrong, every custom piece I have done is always so special to me, they all have a little piece of my heart once I send them off). But, this one was at the top of the list for sure.
This beautiful Gardeners Toolbelt was made for the one and only Joanna Gaines, you know "Fixer Upper" and numerous other amazing things.
Yup, her! I was commissioned to make one special for her and wow I couldn't believe it at first! I was so excited to get details on what types of flowers to incorporate, wording, all the good stuff that makes these such special personalized items. I got straight to work and couldn't wait to see how it all came together! It was stunning, definitely a custom piece that means so much to as an artist.
I was told that Joanna loved it and so dud her staff, how amazing to hear something like it is unreal.
I didn't share because, at the time I was slowing down, leather was extremely hard to find and thought the universe was telling me to move on. But then this amazing project came up and I couldn't resist.
I may add these back on my website at some point if there is enough interest.
To all the people that have trusted me, little ole me with pieces like this over the last 15 years, I love amd thank you for trusting me with your visions. ❤️

Here is a little sneak peek behind the scenes of making a pattern. I am making this beauty for a great friend of mine (I hope she loves it, she still uses one of my cute bags from years ago and wants another. ❤️)
I made up this pattern a while back and had a purse made up, right to the end and then I wrecked the zipper somehow, so I had to walk away lol. I was so sad I wrecked it, the bag couldn't be used. So, after all this time I finally sat down, revamped, tore the other one up and made a new pattern.
I will have this beauty available on the website next week!

I rarely make anything for myself, an artist that never makes anything for herself! I know, lame! But every once in a while, I will sit down and start crafting a lil something for myself, its almost always with scraps I have, pieces like these embroidered squares that didnt turn out quite right for my little purses and things like that. I seem to aquire craft supplies like its my only job.
These squares needed a little love and to be made into something beautiful, something I could hang in my studio space as a reminder that taking time for myself, creating things for myself, is just as important as making things for others. 💜
