Anyone who knows me, knows that I love to support local businesses including my favourite w**eries. I often get asked by my customers which w**eries I would recommend and now you will see their labels on my shelves. A few of the w**eries I frequent have allowed me to use their bottles, keep their labels on, and turn them into candles.

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted last. Sometime, you just need a break from everyday and focus on things that are really important like family, community, friendships, and faith. But I just wanted to let you know that we’re still here, still loving what we’re doing, and are so grateful to everyone for supporting us, sharing our story and for simply being you. We have some fun classes coming up for the fall. They will all be posted on the website just in time for the weather to get a little cooler, the days to get a little shorter, and all before hibernation sets in. Stay true to yourself, kind to your heart, and thankful for everyday because tomorrow is not promised.

Canadian Handmade will be closed until Tuesday June 23nd as we travel to Alberta to celebrate the life of my sweet sister. It’s been 7 months since she passed and we are now laying her to rest with my parents and my brother, “together again”.

We’re set up at the farmers market again today. It’s taken me a couple of weeks to figure out the best set up but I think we’ve figured it out! Lol! Come on down and say hi! We’ll be here every Saturday until September!

We received a package of beautiful sterling silver jewelry from Qualicum Beach, BC today. Emily from sent us some unique quote necklaces, fine stacking rings, family and friendship necklaces, and a variety of eye catching earrings. Beautiful quality at a fair price.
