On September 19th, I’m running a introduction to drop spinning workshop in Beachburg. If you are interested, sign up by Friday through the Beachburg Fibre Fest. Over 2.5hours we will cover drop spinning, some information on choosing fibres and fibre prep and you’ll have the chance to make your own 50g drum carded batt.

Thank you s much to everyone at Perth Fair for a wonderful weekend. This was my fifth year doing the fair and it’s now a bit like a home away from home. Next weekend the adventures continue as I’ll be travelling back I. Time to the King’s Town Renaissance Fair (tickets available from faires.ca2025) which will take place at Fort Henry in Kingston on September 12th and 13th.
