☕️ 2 YEARS OPEN! ☕️

Two years. TWO YEARS! 🥹❤️

When we opened Ottawa Valley Coffee, I had no idea just how much I would learn—not only about running a business, but about people, community, and myself.

Here are a few things I’ve learned along the way:

❤️ Customers become family.
You get so used to seeing certain faces that when they don’t show up for a few days, you’re texting them to make sure they’re still alive. 😂

⭐️ 5-star reviews still make you smile and do a happy dance.
Seriously… every single one means SO much.

🥲 1-star reviews can absolutely destroy your day.
Sometimes you cry a million tears while eating an entire carton of ice cream… and then you get back up and keep going. 😂🍦

🤷‍♀️ Not everyone is going to support your small business—and that’s okay.
You learn to appreciate the people who do, because they truly make all the difference.

🗣️ Word of mouth is the best form of flattery.
When someone tells a friend, brings someone new in, or recommends us to someone, it means more than they probably realize.

☕️ Seeing our merch and coffee cups out in the wild is STILL exciting.
Every. Single. Time. I’m like, “OMG! THAT’S OUR CUP!” 😂❤️

Most importantly, I’ve learned that a coffee shop is so much more than coffee. It’s the conversations, the friendships, the celebrations, the hard days, the laughs, and the little moments that happen around a cup of coffee.

Thank you to everyone who has walked through our doors, shared a coffee with us, told someone about us, left a review, bought some merch, supported us, or simply cheered us on from the sidelines.

Two years of Ottawa Valley Coffee. Two years of learning, growing, laughing, crying, and building something I’m incredibly proud of.
