Petawawa Choose & Cut Located at 661 Black Bay Rd. we have a good selection of White Spruce and Balsam Fir up to 6 ft. .Those trees are $40 tax incl. These prices may vary.

For the adventurous ones there are trees up to 20 ft tall in the bush . We have a good selection of White Spruce and Balsam Fir trees up to 6 feet tall. We do have some taller ones but you will need to be adventurous to find one . We supply hand saws to cut your trees but you are welcome to bring your own saw or ax. No chain saws please. Help is available if you require some assistance cutting or

loading your tree. Twine is available to secure your tree for transport. All trees are $35.00 tax incl. except table toppers which are $15. Table toppers are up to 3 feet tall and include a wooden stand. Cash is the preferred method of payment. Unheated washroom facilities are available. Wagon rides are provided as part of the experience . There is also a candy cane tree for children who are on Santa's nice list. Well behaved fur babies are welcome . P**p & Scoop in effect .

Spent the day prunning my scotch pines today . Not a big selection left but there are some nice trees . I stopped planting scotch pine a few years ago as demand dwindled and the trees started to have growth problems . I've posted a few before & after photos and one of a tree that has a mind of its own and refuses to cooperate with my prunning efforts . Have a great summer .

PS I'll start prunning the other species later this summer once they have finished growing for this year.

We hope everyone wintered well . The plantation seemed to survive without any major damage . Last season's stumps were cut low to the ground to facillitate keeping grasses and weeds controlled . Our first pass at removing double leaders and broken branches is completed . We planted about 450 seedlings in early May to make sure we have stock well into the next decade . We will be prunning scotch pine the end of June and the other trees starting in Aug . We hope you have a great summer . See you in the fall.

We hope everyone is enjoying Christmas surrounded by family and friends . We want to wish everyone a happy,healthy and prosperous 2026. It's been great seeing everyone this season . We will be open both days this weekend from 9 till 4 and afternoons next week from 1 till 4 for tree sales . So, if you've been waiting for the kids to get home from college or university , have unexpected guests coming for Christmas or are just a last minute shopper you are in luck . Drop around. We have a good selection of trees up to 5 1/2 ft in the plantations and lots of larger ones in the back 40 for the adventurous customers . Not looking for a tree , drop around grab a candy cane off the tree, go for a stroll in a winter wonderland or if it's not too busy maybe I can give you a ride behind the old green goblin tractor .
