Though we're in the middle of the Thanksgiving long weekend, we are barreling towards the holiday season at a rapid speed! So why not embrace it and come join our Needle Felted Ornaments class on Saturday, November 7 from 1-4 in the Hayloft!

Needle felting is a super fun and easy craft to pick up; it also lets you express a bit of pent up frustration with a healthy outlet for stabbing! Also, the finished objects are guaranteed to come out so stinking cute, and would be the perfect thing to gift to others, or even add to your own holiday decor!

Just a few new things that have arrived in the shop!

MYak Fibers Tibetan Cloud was always a top favourite in the shop, but these new colours will capture the heart of any neutral lover (myself included)!

Sari Nordlund has come out with another gorgeous book chalk full of gorgeous accessory patterns! We expect it to change lives! The Shelter Hoodie is my personal fave of the bunch and would be incredible in West Yorkshire Spinners Morris yarn!

And last but certainly not least, Laine Publishing has their 10 Year Anniversary Edition out now! It has a stunning collection of patterns from some up and coming designers, as well as your tried and true faves! The Wild Rose Vest by Dee Hardwicke is a thing of beauty!! We recommend Jamieson & Smith 4-ply, WOOLDREAMERS 90 Varas, or Waxwing Yarn Company Cedre for a stunning finishing product!

Keep an eye out for your wayward skeins when you're knitting in the wild!! I had to reel it in like a fishing line and then ball it up while it was wet!

It was a best case scenario was that it was Amano Yarns Sami in Moss and Coconut Charcoal which is a 100% cotton yarn! It fared well in the harbour water and has since dried completely fine!
