Beautiful Skjolden Norway. The longest fjord in Norway. It’s crisp and cool out, 12 Celsius. After this stop we cruise straight back to Rotterdam. We had some rolling seas yesterday but it only made me sleepy 🥱!! I lived for a number of years on Pelee Island so I’m used to long ferry rides and rough water. Luckily my sea legs and strong stomach are still with me, 30 years later. On the ferry rides home from high school on the main land we all would immediately fall asleep. So when the ship rocks I think my body just immediately wants to sleep after all the high school years of ferry rides.

We went directly to Sandnes Garn’s factory for a tour. It was amazing how they create all those different yarn bases! It’s the largest production of wool in Norway. They use locally sourced Norwegian wool from their sheep and bring in merino and alpaca to blend in. Sandnes Garn

We went to Fru Kvist shop and it was fabulous and full of yarns & goodies!!
Then we went to Heimen Husfliden shop and got more yarn 🧶!! This is a beautiful city!

The movie 🎥 🍿 Practical Magic 2 comes out Sept 11th and I can’t wait!! Our Regent theatre will have it around Oct 8th so I have to wait even longer, so no spoilers!! 🧙
In anticipation of the movie I started working on new spell-tastic colours that I pulled from the films colour palette of the clothing and the rooms of their house.
13 colours, 13 mini DK weight skeins/806 meters to play with. I also collected up witchy silver charms and made stitch markers. I found a lovely magical notebook and a few other surprises to open over the 13 days to the best day of the year! Halloween!! 👻

🎃 I’ve been working on colour charts of images so you will be able to create your own colour work adventure scarf or cowl, with your minis.

Farewell Newfoundland and thank you for an incredible trip. The most welcoming people and great hospitality. We got to experience so much of the beauty of the land and history, along with learning more about the traditional crafts and handwork’s made in Newfoundland. I loved 🥰 every minute of it. I hope to do this tour again so sign up on our website to our newsletter to keep in the loop of all the trips coming up in the future.
