Just got back from a Vendor event, got to see some great new games.

Definitely ordering in

Mind the Lines - a party drawing game where you need to draw clues using the lines already on your drawing pad.

Critical Role Codenames- this adds an adventure game system to Codenames does not require you to know the critical role IP.

Drillers - a beautiful game from CGE, great theme and components. With mining robot minis.

Fish and Chips - extremely fast paced dice game. It was a hoot to watch!

Night at the Zoo - a nice looking family game where zoo animals are trying to escape in each zoo animal acts differently.

Pass the Pandas - nice dice game for everyone.

A quick Pokémon Anniversary update!

We’re receiving the tiniest amount imaginable, and it won’t be available until this weekend—so please don’t make a special trip tomorrow looking for it!

We’ll share more details once it arrives. Quantities will be extremely limited.

A huge thank-you to all our customers—August was our best month ever!

When we first opened a retail store, I was a little worried about dealing with difficult customers. My wife once told me that when she worked at an ice cream shop, she would occasionally get angry old men complaining about their ice cream. I figured if people could get angry over blueberry grunt, nowhere was safe!

What I’ve learned is that a small hobby shop is different. Our staff genuinely love the games and products we sell, and our customers love them too. Everyone who comes through the door already has something in common, and most people are simply happy that a store like ours exists.

Our customers truly are the best. Thank you for not being angry old men—and, more importantly, thank you for sharing our enthusiasm and supporting our little store so incredibly well. We appreciate every one of you!

The shop is looking pretty full right now!

Board games, Warhammer, Magic, Pokémon, Star Wars Unlimited, RPGs and plenty more packed into our little Pictou store.
