Meet Elena — the artist behind Drop of Nature Jewelry, and one of those vendors that you just have to see in person to truly appreciate.

Elena creates handmade jewelry using real dried flowers, plants, berries, mushrooms, and other natural elements collected from gardens and right here in the Alberta boreal forest. Each piece is carefully preserved in resin, keeping its natural shape and volume — creating a beautiful three-dimensional effect that you really cannot replicate. And because every element comes from nature, no two pieces are ever exactly alike.

Meet Tanya Debeau — the family behind Real Honey, and one of the most incredible stories coming to the market this year.

Real Honey is a third-generation family-owned honey bee farm, with an enthusiastic fourth generation already carrying on the tradition. They care for 3,500 hives, and every single season brings new challenges, new learning, and a whole lot of love for their bees and their craft.

Their bees forage among local hay fields, blooming canola, and diverse wildflowers — producing a light, smooth, naturally sweet honey that this region is known for. Pure, high quality, and made with generations of hard work and stewardship behind every jar.

Meet Vasilisa — the owner and baker behind Christy's Bakery, and one of our returning vendors from last year!

Vasilisa specializes in Russian baking, and if you were here last year you already know — she could not keep her table stocked. She was restocking throughout the entire day and still sold out. That kind of thing speaks for itself.

You may already be a fan without even realizing it — her meat pockets are currently on shelves at AG Foods in Lac La Biche and Boyle, and her pretzels are sold right here at the Plamondon Co-op. Local and already loved.

Christy’s Bakery will be joining us on Saturday only, so make sure you come hungry. 🥐

Meet Pelaheya — the girl behind Break Bread Bakery, a young entrepreneur from right here in Lac La Biche County who started making and selling crafts as a teenager and somewhere along the way discovered sourdough. And honestly, the rest is history.

What she has built is so much more than a bread business. Every Friday at the Farmers Market, she shows up with fresh baked goods — loaves, focaccia, cookies, specialty rolls, seasonal specials — all made with care and real ingredients. The kind of baking that makes your whole house smell incredible and tastes even better than it looks.

Pelaheya will be with us both days with her handmade handicrafts, and on Friday she will also be bringing her baking. Come early on Friday if you want to take a loaf home — I have a feeling she will sell out. 🍞

2026 Summer Sale & Market • Vendor Spotlight 🌻

Meet Breanne — the owner behind Esteban's Cafe, and one of our returning (and hopefully staple) vendors from last year!

Breanne runs a little café in Lac La Biche that has really made a name for itself. She even takes it outside the four walls, setting up at McArthur Park downtown so families at the splash park and beach can enjoy her treats too. She just loves bringing good food and amazing drinks to people wherever they are.

Last year was her first time doing anything like this — we tucked her in under my camper awning and she made it work. 😄 This year she is coming back better than ever, both days, with her coffee lemonades, snacks, and lunch options.

Honestly, plan to stay a while. Between Breanne's food, amazing coffee (hot and iced) and everything else happening out here, there is no reason to rush. ☕🌻

This one is really special to me.

The Maker's Keep is a women-owned small business that has been championing local makers and small businesses since 2016. What started as one location has grown into multiple mall locations across the Edmonton area — Sherwood Park, St. Albert, and South Edmonton Common — supporting a community of over 500 local vendors.

Just over 3 years ago I did a little pop up at their Sherwood Park location. And now they are hitting the road, bringing a little pink RV trailer to events and pop ups — and this August, she is pulling up right here on the acreage. Full circle does not even begin to cover it. 🥹

If you have never shopped The Maker's Keep, you are in for something really good. Think handmade, local, thoughtful — the kind of shopping that just feels right.

2026 Summer Sale & Market • Vendor Spotlight 🌻

Meet Dennis — the man behind The Fudgery, and a fixture at this market since day one. Most of you probably just know him as the Fudge Guy. Either way, he's been here every single year and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Dennis also happens to be my brother-in-law, which means I have been putting up with him for a long time and he still shows up every year. 😄

What sets Dennis apart is that he makes his fudge the real way — a genuine copper pot and a marble slab. No shortcuts. Just the way it's supposed to be done. And you can taste the difference.

Every market he creates a specialty flavour just for the event, and this year he did not disappoint. Dennis is bringing three special flavours to the table:

🍋 Key Lime Pie
🍹 Mango Margarita
🍒 Black Forest Cheesecake

That last one? My absolute favourite. My mom has made me a Black Forest birthday cake every single year for as long as I can remember — so the fact that the Fudge Guy is bringing Black Forest fudge to my 50th birthday market feels pretty perfect. I may have had something to do with that. 😉

Meet Bessma — the owner behind Bessma's Ice Cream, and honestly one of the most inspiring stories in this vendor lineup.

Bessma had a dream at 16 years old. With the support of her dad, she purchased a truck and they built it from the ground up together — turning an empty shell into a mobile ice cream shop that has been bringing smiles to Lac La Biche County ever since. And she did all of this while going to university.

That is the kind of thing that makes you want to go buy every single scoop. 🍦

Bessma is local, she is passionate, and she is the real deal. We are so happy to have her out on the acreage this year.

Meet Suzanne — the owner behind What’s The Scoop?, and honestly one of the coolest setups you will ever see at a market. 🍨

Suzanne converted a vintage motorhome into her ice cream truck, and it is as charming as it sounds. But the real star? The flavours. We are not talking only the standard vanilla and chocolate — she creates flavours that stop you in your tracks. yummy flavours like Tiger, Campfire S'mores, Crème Brûlée, Burgundy Cherry, Rocket Pop Sorbet... and that is just scratching the surface.

She was here last year for her very first season in business and people loved her. We are so happy to have her back.
