I'm experimenting with meterials and smaller hooks. These ars some panfish flies I made for ice fishing. I've been using flies for ice fishing a while now but these are all a little different than the tried and true brown iridescent one I would normally fish.

Do you guys think those little glittery eggs will catch?

A size 8 drop shot fly. That's right! These are made and designed to fish on conventional tackle as a drop shot, split shot or under a float. I often rig one above a jig to cover more.of the water column and offer a more subtle presentation.
