In the time honoured tradition of posting upcoming events at the last possible minute, I have one for tomorrow. That's right, I'll be at the Mid Island Swap Meet in Nanoose Bay from 8 am till 2 pm.

I'm a little slow to post this but better late than never. I met Bill and Kelly at Saratoga in April. Bill secretly contacted me after the event and asked if I could make a custom piece for Kelly's birthday in a couple weeks. Needless to say she got it in time and was very surprised! Nice couple. Nice car.

Hey will you look at that, a post about an upcoming event already!

That's right, it's the first event of the year and it appears I haven't broken my habit of posting the night before the event,. Some things never change.

Anyway, here we go! It's the annual swap meet and flea market at Saratoga Speedway in Black Creek being held tomorrow April 21st from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Hopefully the weather will cooperate. It's raining cat's and dogs as I write this the night before. Fingers crossed.

Anyone who has sold their house and moved to another city knows what a massive and all-consuming task it is. As life would have it, my wife and I decided to do that very thing last summer when we made the move from Chemainus to Port Alberni .

As a result of that decision I had to put a full-stop hold on doing ANY car shows in 2023. I was pretty bummed about it because my first year out in 2022 was awesome.

I'm sure it looked like I dropped off the face of the earth seeing as I haven't posted anything in over a year. But fear not, the move is over, we're all settled in, and I'm all geared up for the 2024 season!

To everyone still following this page, I'm sorry for the lengthy silent treatment... it was unavoidable.

Now that I'm back in the saddle I'll be posting upcoming events soon. Stay tuned!
