Wildwood Thrift

Exciting things are happening!

After watching Wildwood Thrift grow over the past year, I know can't continue to operate on top of 21 years of accumulation. I thought I would be able to clear it but it was just too much for me to make progress.

I have decided the best course of action is to close the store for a week(🤞) to do a massive reorganization bringing Wildwood Thrift in line with what I envisioned.

Thank you for the continued support, I truly couldn't do any of this without you. I can't wait to welcome you back soon into a space that can finally breathe.

My sweet Charlesworth Snigglebottom loves his treats from Millies Goodies ❤️❤️ You can always find the dried sardines and biscuits in the store! I carry them because they’re Charlie approved and this sweet face couldn’t lie!

🚨 PUPCAKE EMERGENCY 🚨
Symptoms may include: staring at you intensely, following you into every room, excessive tail wagging, and suddenly remembering how to sit perfectly. 😂🐶
The diagnosis?

Your dog has seen a Millie’s Goodies Pupcake and would like one immediately. 🧁

Unfortunately, there is only one known treatment… give the patient the Pupcake. 😂💗

Tag someone whose dog would suddenly become VERY well behaved for one of these. 👇🐾

It’s been way too long! It’s the middle of September already and I’m way behind!

There’s a bit of updating before we get to the recipient of this month’s donation.

TLDW: I have decided that I am no longer going to be accepting children’s clothing, effective immediately. Kids toys and books are still accepted. Watch for big sales as I clear out all of the kids clothes.
The donation this month is going to… just kidding you’ll still have to watch to find out or fast forward to 4:42.

I have my plop spot secured, do you? Come on bears, bring your best shot! If you aren’t sure what I’m talking about, make sure you check out the newest fundraiser for the Foundry and ADAPS.

I’m very much looking forward to the Foundry coming to Port Alberni and what it will mean for the youth in our community.

You may have heard the buzz around our current fundraiser, BEAR PLOP BINGO to raise funds towards Foundry Port Alberni!

But, what is FOUNDRY? We will be part of a provincial network of community based youth health, wellness and social services. A hub where service providers come together to support youth 12-24 with access to free healthcare, counselling, employment and training support, social opportunities and groups, and peer support. Foundry Port Alberni will be a place to belong for all youth. Our location is secured, ground breaking is on the horizon and we are raising funds to support the completion of this work, and the best part is the FUN you get to have while supporting youth in the Alberni Valley!

Please visit this link to purchase tickets 🎟https://www.adaps.org/bearplopbingo 💙💚
