We wanted to share this news with everyone. We are sad with this announcement as we LOVE Simply Stated Designs but we wish Chantel all the best as she transitions and thank her and her team for all the creativity and awesomeness.
So with all that being said….if you love Simply Stated and wanna get your hands on some before they are gone…check out our inventory and order asap. As the news gets around, the ephemera packs and paper packs will go quickly.

After a great deal of reflection, I’ve made the decision to step into a full‑time office role and begin winding down Simply Stated Designs as it exists today. Over the years, this business has grown beyond anything I ever imagined, and while that growth has been incredible, it has also become more than I can sustainably manage. I’ve realized that the pace required to keep up means missing too much of my life, and it’s time for a change.

This business has been a huge part of my world for nearly 20 years, and building this brand and community has been one of the greatest joys of my life. While this transition is bittersweet, it will allow me to focus on the parts of Simply Stated that matter most to me: creativity, connection, and community.

Here’s what this shift will look like:

Patreon will continue as usual.

The website will remain active for Patreon members.

I will continue offering custom design work and hosting all virtual events.

The full site will remain available for members to shop at their leisure.

Monthly new releases will come to an end, and Simply Stated will move into a quieter, more intentional chapter.

The website will stay open to the public for one final month before becoming password‑protected for Patreon members only starting July 1. Our June virtual crop will go ahead as planned, and our October in‑person crop will now serve as a farewell event, where I’ll be selling the remaining inventory.

This has not been an easy decision, and I appreciate your understanding as I take a few days to process and prepare for this transition. It is never too early to get started on making cards for the holiday season. Time goes quickly, and the Christmas Kickstart Cardmaking Weekend is a great way to learn something new, make lots of cards and get the festive creative juices flowing.

Join us for learning, making and fun that will help you get ready for the holiday season. Packed with ideas, instruction and inspiration, this Card Making Weekend includes 5 x 2-hour classes, one with each talented store owner (Friday and Saturday). Together, you’ll make at least one completed project per session. Written instructions will be provided once the class is over.

PLUS! Sunday will feature demonstrations and bonus projects that you can make using your kit, items from your stash and additional items that will be available from each store.

When the weekend is over, you’ll be ready to make your list and check it twice, knowing you have lots of finished cards for special people, plus ideas to make more or turn into cards for other occasions.

Your 2026 Christmas Kickstart Kit will include:
A 12x12 paper collection from Rosie’s Studio, plus coordinating diecuts and stickers.

You will be asked to pull coloured and specialty (glitter, metallic) cardstock, acetate and vellum, card bases, ink and other basics from your stash. Your Home Store team can help you with these items.

This event will be held in a Private Facebook Group, which allows you to participate and interact, as well as ask questions and follow along from the comfort of your home. When the videos are uploaded after the live session, you can return to watch over and over again, on demand. This also allows you to take the classes at a pace that is right for you, and at a time that is convenient to you, once the class is over. You must have a Facebook account to participate.
