Here’s something a little different from the Source Floor shop — a fully custom inlaid mat created for the set of a Netflix series.

From the custom oval shape to the intricate deer artwork, every detail was built into the mat to help bring the set design to life.

Projects like this are a great reminder that custom matting doesn’t have to stop at a company logo — if you can design it, there’s a good chance we can turn it into a mat.

Built for the moments before the puck drops. 🏒

Here’s a sneak peek at one of our latest projects for a local university hockey program.

From large-format dressing room mats to individual stall mats, every detail was designed with the demands of the hockey environment in mind — durable, functional, and ready for everything that happens between the locker room and the ice.

Just a glimpse for now… more to come. 👀

Source Floor & Specialties supplied two large Grizzly FX mats for the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation. With the Parks Board managing some of Vancouver’s most well-used public spaces and facilities, choosing flooring that can handle daily traffic, durability demands, and busy environments is essential.

We’re proud to play a small part in helping keep these spaces safe, functional, and looking their best.

🐝 We had the pleasure of creating these custom honeycomb inlaid mats for our friends at the Honeybee Centre 🌻🐝 Family Farm in Surrey, BC.

The hexagonal design was a perfect fit for a place dedicated to bees—and seeing the finished mats installed was pretty sweet 🍯

Even better, our visit included a tour of the Honeybee Centre facility, giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the incredible work they do to educate, support beekeepers, and celebrate the world of honeybees.

We love projects that combine craftsmanship, creativity, and a great local story. Thanks for having us, Honeybee Centre!

First impressions start before the puck drops. 🏒

We were proud to create this custom printed logo mat for the Vancouver Island Seals AAA Female Hockey Team—a simple addition that makes a big statement.

A custom team mat does more than welcome players and fans. It builds team pride, creates a professional atmosphere, and reinforces your team’s identity every time someone walks through the door. Whether it’s at the arena, in the dressing room, or at tournaments, your logo becomes a symbol of the culture, commitment, and community behind the team.

For athletes, it’s a reminder of the crest they represent. For opponents and visitors, it’s a strong first impression. And for sponsors and supporters, it’s another opportunity to showcase the brand they’ve helped build.

Thank you to the Vancouver Island Seals for trusting Source Floor with this project. We’re proud to help bring your team identity to life!
