Anyone who has visited our store may have seen a shelf in our New Fiction Books called "The Booksellers' List". But what is that collection and why is it special?

The Booksellers' List is a seasonal collection of titles curated by which have peaked the interest of Canadian indie booksellers. These may be debut titles from indie writers, or the latest book from fantastic authors. New books are peer-selected for every season which means we get almost 100 amazing titles recommended by our fellow book-lovers every year 😍

With so many recommendations it can be hard to figure out where to start...that's why we are trying something a little new 😉

Joining us in-store Wednesday September 16 is Colin Reir, our rep from Ampersand and Raincoast Books! Colin is an industry wizard who has worked with us a long time, and has the latest scoop on all of this Fall's hottest Booksellers' List titles! We can't wait to hear Colin's input on this seasons selection (and shamelessly use his expertise to start brainstorming holiday gifts for all the book lovers in our lives 😅) He'll also be providing a super-exclusive-sneak-peak at some of the unique gifts releasing for the holidays too 👀

Please RSVP on the Western Sky Books Events Page to join us for a night of Tea, Treats and book loving fun 📚
