Why does skincare have to be so complicated? 😂

Cleanser. Toner. Serum. Eye cream. Moisturizer. Oil.

Do I need all of it? What goes where? And where the heck do I even start?

One of the biggest things I’ve learned since I started taking better care of my own skin is that you don’t need everything. You just need to figure out what YOUR skin needs and what you’re actually trying to change. And I really love helping women figure that part out.

If I could recommend just ONE Puralta product to someone who tells me her skin feels really dry, this would be it. 🩷

**BioRegen Restorative Firming Night Cream.**

This is one of the Puralta products I personally notice the most. I use it every evening and let it do its thing while I sleep.

When my skin is feeling particularly dry, this is the product I want waiting for me at bedtime. I love how my skin feels when I wake up after using it consistently.

And here's something else I really like...

You don't necessarily have to jump into an entire skincare routine to start taking better care of your skin. Starting with ONE product that addresses something that's actually bothering you can be a really comfortable place to begin.

A teacher, a retired teacher and a retired nurse walk into a jewelry business...

Sounds like the beginning of a joke, doesn't it? 😂 But it's actually a little snapshot of three of the women on my team.

One is a teacher who loves her career but also has a real passion for small business. She's incredibly creative too. Give her a phone and she captures photos and videos that make the rest of us wonder how the heck she did that! 📱 She isn't looking to replace her career. She wants both things to have a place in her life.

Another is a retired teacher who still tutors and has spent years in leadership, including as president of a prominent women's organization. Community is really important to her. She wants to have fun, spend time with women she enjoys and earn something that's just for her.

And then there's a retired nurse who is very much the matriarch of her busy family. She's there every day for her adult children and grandchildren. But she wanted something for herself too. She loves beautiful things, enjoys being part of a community and still has that entrepreneurial spirit. 🩷

Three completely different women with three completely different lives.

None of them needed this business to give them an identity. They already had one.

And maybe that's the point.

**You bring the woman you already are.**

Your career. Your life experience. Your talents. Your personality. Your interests. Even the things you're good at that you may not realize are valuable yet.

I loved this one the minute it arrived. 🌼

In my opinion the photos don’t do it justice.

This is one of those pieces I really wanted to show you on an actual person because it is SO much prettier in real life.

The soft cream crystal pearls mixed with the Swarovski crystals give it this beautiful glow, and I love the gold finish with it. It’s feminine without feeling fussy, and even though the flower makes a statement, it doesn’t feel like too much when you’re wearing it.

It’s 20” + 2”, and the adjustable bolo clasp means you can play with where it sits depending on your neckline. That part I really love.

And yes…I may have put it on for the photo and decided it wasn’t coming off anytime soon. 😂

Can we make skincare a little less complicated? 🙋‍♀️

One of the things I hear often is:

**“I have no idea what I’m supposed to use.”**

And with cleansers, toners, serums, moisturizers, oils, eye creams and a never-ending stream of skincare advice coming at us, I completely understand why.

When someone asks me what she should use, I don't start by telling her what to buy.

I start by asking questions.

What does your skin feel like? What are you using now? What would you like to improve? Is there anything your skin seems to love...or absolutely hate?

Because I don't think good skincare starts with a shopping list.
