We love when customers share photos of their Big Brothers Big Sisters Second Helpings Thrift Shop finds but this long time supporter goes above and beyond! Spanning over a decade and our two locations. “The bowl I bought today, the teapot I bought last month, the tablecloth I bought a few years ago and the plates and plate rack I bought on John street”. Great memory and so well curated.

What an incredible July we’ve had in Downtown Port Hope. Visitors from literally everywhere with the “best shoes” and the best stories. Our friend from Berlin, Germany spent his 5 days of holidays in Port Hope just to visit the IT Movie filming locations! We’ve handed out oodles of “It” walking tour pamphlets and can’t wait to see what August brings. Huge thanks to our locals for donations that have kept our shelves stocked and interesting.
