We are BIGGER TOGETHER! With the support of the Government of Ontario, 10,000 young people, including youth in Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Clarington and Northumberland County/served by Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Durham and Northumberland, are ready to thrive as the new school year begins. On behalf of the families we serve, we are so appreciative of continued support from the Ontario Ministry of Education Their investment in BBBS’ school-focused mentoring programs keep young people, engaged, connected and focused on school and their futures. We’re excited to introduce The Big Ripple — our new monthly giving community. 💛

Mentorship can change the course of a young person’s life. But that change doesn’t happen in one big moment. It’s built through the small things — showing up, listening, encouraging and believing in someone, month after month.

Monthly giving works the same way. Small, consistent gifts add up, helping us reach more young people, create meaningful mentoring relationships and build brighter futures.

Small acts. Big impact. Lasting change.

🌊 Start your ripple today. Join The Big Ripple and give monthly. 👉https://ow.ly/ilnG50ZJzeM

💙 September is BBBS Month!
This month, we’re celebrating the power of mentorship - the connections, moments, and small acts that can create BIG impact in a young person’s life.

Every conversation, every hour, every show of support can help build confidence, open new possibilities, and create a ripple that lasts far beyond today. ✨

This September, be part of the ripple and help mentorship reach even further.
