Oh my! Check out this one 1️⃣ f a kind cat by Craig Naugler. This year Craig’s 35 carvings sold out at the Nova Scotia Folk Art Festival in 19 minutes, a first for him. Craig’s work has become a popular as his dad Bradford. He said he has no plans to carve another one of these cats!

We are open this week! Unfortunately Westjet cancelled our flights due to their short term strike! Grrrr. The good news is I was able to attend the Nova Scotia Folk Art Festival. Lots of new artwork by Ron Williams, Joe Balcolm and Verna Naugler - Zwicker and a large hooked rug by me will be posted soon. A team of oxen by renowned carver Forrester Durkee. Forrester (1898–?) was a noted Canadian folk art woodcarver from Port Maitland and Beaver River in Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia. Active around the 1940s, he is highly regarded by collectors for his robust, realistic, and hand-carved depictions of Nova Scotian working oxen and rural scenes. He was a veteran of World War I.
This team is named Jack and Jerry. 6 x 5.5x4” He is actually a relative of my husband and we have a wonderful collection of his oxen and horses.

Also restocked on her Lupin and Sandpiper prints that sold out. We pride ourselves in choosing unique, creative artwork. A reminder… we will be closed from August 2-10th.
