Today I reflect on how grateful I am for all my customers, both local and tourists alike. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you. If you made a purchase from Modern Maple in the last 6.5 years believe me I noticed.
The time has come to make the very difficult but right decision for myself and my family to close the doors here at Modern Maple. Our last day open will be Nov. 30th.
From day one it was always my mission to promote small Canadian businesses and makers, and it has been a true pleasure to do just that. In doing so, I have had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people and learn so much along this journey.
Unfortunately, people’s shopping patterns and the state of the economy have changed drastically since I opened the doors in 2019. It is becoming increasingly more difficult for small brick and mortar businesses to keep their doors open. So, please, please, please continue to support them.
I will be starting inventory sales this week. The entire store is 20-50% off until further notice. Sales also run online with discount code GRATEFUL. All online purchases will be in store pick up only. Deeper discounts may be applied as the time runs down, depending on inventory levels.
